So me and my guhl Khara went to see 'This Is It' on opening night last week. I loved it! Sometimes behind all of the scandall and weird behavior you forget how much a musical genious this man was. He was so hands on with every little detail about his show. It was as if he had a vision of how he wanted the show to be. He pushed everyone around him, whether dancer, musician, director, or singers to give there all. It seemed that when they bought into his idea or vision if you will, the best came out of them. Like the part where the girl is playing the solo or the woman singing with him. It was a great movie. It had emotion, humor, and a chance to see a creative genious at work. Looking back it kind of makes you sad how a man with so much talent, had such a crazy private life. But you can't deny the music. When certain songs came on throught the movie, I couldn't help but sing along. Then in the middle we were like man i wonder if they are gonna do PYT or Smooth Criminal, or etc. Mike's music brought people together all over the world. I am sure tickets for those shows were Stupid Expensive! But when you watch the rehersal, it's like man this was not just a concert. It was a production, an event. The type of show you remember and talk about for years. All in all, great movie and great times!
